Manchester United send scouts to watch three Serie A stars, with one scoring a brace
According to reports from Italy, Manchester United had scouts in attendance to watch a massive Serie A clash over the weekend.
Within the Premier League, Michael Olise, Amadou Onana, and Jarrad Branthwaite have all impressed. However, elsewhere, Manchester United have had their scouts analyse games from across the globe, with INEOS determined to succeed in their first transfer window as club owners.
One such game was last weekend’s clash between Serie A giants Juventus and Atalanta, with Tuttosport via Fichajes confirming that the Red Devils had scouts watching over the game.

The report notes that United’s scouts were sent to watch three players in particular, those being Juventus’ Gleison Bremer, as well as Giorgio Scalvini and Teun Koopmeiners of Atalanta.
This report is far from the first time that United has been linked with any of the trio. Scalvini and Bremer have both been touted as potential recruits for several months now.
With the future of all of United’s centre-back options bar Lisandro Martínez unclear, as well as the news United have sent scouts to watch the pair, these rumours of United wanting to bring one of the pair to Old Trafford are likely to continue.
Meanwhile, with the seemingly inevitable departure of at least one of United’s senior midfielders this summer, Koopmeiners has continued to present himself as an ideal addition to the Red Devils’ squad.
In the match between Juventus and Atalanta, Koopmeiners, who has 12 goals across all competitions this season, would score both of Atalanta’s goals, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.
Koopmeiners, 26, has excelled during his time with Atalanta and will be no stranger to current United boss Erik ten Hag, with the two facing off in the Eredivisie on several occasions in years gone by.
