According to a new report, Manchester United have made both Jarrad Branthwaite and Michael Olise top targets for their summer 2024 transfer window.

The report, which comes from FootballTransfers, states that Ineos has identified Olise as an ideal fix to the ongoing right-wing issues United have been plagued with over the last decade.

For years the right side of the attack has been a constant source of woe for the Red Devils, regardless of the amount of money thrown at potential solutions.

Despite signing Amad Diallo, Facundo Pellistri, Jadon Sancho, and Antony since the start of the 2020/21 season, none of the four seem to have a guaranteed future at United. That also remains the case for Mason Greenwood.

United and Ineos will now hope Olise will offer a change of fortunes for the position, with the French international massively impressing at Crystal Palace.

Olise, 22, has excelled during his time at the London side, including being crowned Crystal Palace Players’ Player of the Season for the 2022/23 season.

Now though, with a heavily reported £60m release clause, it is believed Olise will be Old Trafford-bound should United decide to make a move for the French forward.

It is understood that Olise is open to signing for United, with personal terms reportedly not believed to be an issue.

Also noted was that if United decide to target a different winger to Olise, then Sporting CP winger Marcus Edwards is seen as a viable option by the club.

Edwards, 25, has four goals and three assists in twenty-one league matches this season, with United reportedly valuing the Englishman at £35 million.

Elsewhere in the report, it was noted that United will look to capitalise on the financial woes Everton are currently facing, taking their star defender Jarrad Branthwaite from one part of the North-West of England to another.

The report notes that Branthwaite is expected to cost approximately £75 million. However, United must fight off several clubs to secure the Englishman’s signature.
