Manchester United are reportedly keen on strengthening their right side of attack in the summer with Pedro Neto one of the names mentioned.

Erik ten Hag’s side seem to have started to turn a corner in 2024 after a torrid start to the season, with five wins in their last six games, including away from him against Aston Villa last time out.

One of the key factors behind this upturn in form has been the manager’s decision to move Alejandro Garnacho to the right wing, who has scored four goals in six games since the position swap.

It is an area that has caused United problems more than most. Antony and Jadon Sancho were considered the two main options for that spot at the start of the season.

The latter is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund after a fallout with Ten Hag, whilst the former has shown little signs of progress from his underwhelming debut campaign at Old Trafford.

Garnacho’s form on that right-wing has finally provided United with some much-needed quality. However, the club aren’t happy with the depth in that position.

According to MailOnline, amid concerns over the form of both Antony and Sancho; and Ten Hag being light in the position without Garnacho, United have been having conversations over strengthening the position in the summer.

It is said that alongside the expected name of Michael Olise, who has been strongly linked with a United move, the Wolves wide man Pedro Neto was also mentioned.

The report continued, stating that Neto is being ‘shopped around’ ahead of an anticipated transfer move in the summer.

Manchester City, Arsenal and Newcastle are considered as other potential moves if there is interest in the Portuguese international.

Neto has three goals and 10 assists in 18 appearances this season.
