One Premier League striker is ‘dreaming’ of a move to Manchester United and could offer an important solution for Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag has been limited in his options through the middle of the attack this term. Rasmus Højlund has had injury troubles at points, while Anthony Martial had surgery earlier in the season.

The United boss was denied the opportunity to sign a striker in the January transfer window due to FFP concerns, but the position has been identified by INEOS as a key signing for the summer.

Rodrigo Muniz has emerged as an exciting option within the Premier League this season for Fulham. After a difficult start to the campaign, he has now scored eight goals in his last nine games, as well as registering two assists.

For Muniz, the prospect of donning the iconic red jersey of Manchester United has been ‘his dream since he was little’, according to Marca.

As a young footballer hailing from Brazil, where football is not just a sport but a way of life, Muniz grew up idolizing the Old Trafford club, and he could offer an important solution to Ten Hag.

With there being a desperate need for an additional no.9 to support Rasmus Højlund next season, Muinz could be a great option with just two years remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage.

The Fulham goalscorer is also only 22 years of age and has time to grow as a striker, similar to Højlund.

The aforementioned report added that Atletico Madrid, who scouted the striker when he was in Brazil, feel regret since he began excelling for Fulham and believe that he ‘escaped’ their grasp.

With United in desperate need of a no.9, Muinz could offer an interesting solution for the Old Trafford club.
