Sir Jim Ratcliffe handed £40m boost with club “serious” about Manchester United signing
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been handed a serious funds boost with Juventus “serious” about signing Mason Greenwood from Manchester United this summer.
INEOS are looking to raise funds ahead of the summer transfer window, with Standard Sport reporting that all of Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Antony, Raphaël Varane and Casemiro could be sold this coming window.
Although there are plenty of respective rumours surfacing surrounding all of the aforementioned players, one who Erik ten Hag‘s club will almost certainly see the back of is Greenwood.

Greenwood will not play for United again after he was arrested in January 2022 on charges of domestic abuse, and although the CPS ultimately dropped their case, the club’s own internal review ultimately led to them deciding that Greenwood would recommence his career elsewhere.
He has since been on loan at La Liga club Getafe, where his performances have attracted the interest of Serie A giants Juventus.
According to Italian transfer journalist Daniele Longo, Juventus are now “serious” about signing the Carrington academy graduate this summer, which hands a huge boost to Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
United are reportedly looking for between £35-40 million for Greenwood this summer as they want to raise as much capital as possible ahead of a busy summer where they want to sign a new forward to play alongside Rasmus Højlund.
The report also suggests that Greenwood would be used as a makeweight in a deal for 27-year-old central defender Gleison Bremer to head the other way, with United also wanting to sign a new centre-back.
The futures of Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, and Varane are all in the air following a potential mass-exodus at Old Trafford this summer transfer window.
