“Secret” – Club planning “concrete discussions” for Manchester United player for £25 million fee
Borussia Dortmund are said to be planning “concrete discussions” with Manchester United as they aim to secure a £25 million fee for Jadon Sancho this summer.
Jadon Sancho‘s time at Manchester United is all but over. Multiple tough seasons saw him isolated from Erik ten Hag‘s Old Trafford squad at the beginning of this season.
The £73 million winger has failed to live up to expectations at United following his mega-money move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 and is now back at the Bundesliga club on loan.

His second spell at Dortmund has helped Jadon Sancho breathe life back into his career, and many reports have now said that the German club want to bring him back on a permanent basis.
According to a new report from SportBILD, although Dortmund are expecting “tough poker” from United in negotiations, they have received positive feedback from Sancho and his representatives that he would be open to staying long-term.
However, there is a stumbling block, as Dortmund can only afford around £25 million and will look to enter negotiations around that price ahead of the summer.
Dortmund do have a few alternative options, with reports from last month explaining that they have a “secret” plan that could involve a swap deal.
Dortmund are said to be exploring two options – either retaining him on loan for a further season, or offering United a player swap.
With United looking to sign a striker this summer, it is suggested that Dortmund may offer Dutch striker Donyell Malen in return for Sancho.
