Manchester United’s stance on Warren Zaire-Emery has been revealed after his potential price tag was revealed for any suitors.
Manchester United have already proven they are ready to spend big this transfer window, with Matheus Cunha having already joined the club for £62.5 million from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Another signing looks set to be completed soon, with Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo appearing to be destined to join United, despite interest from Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur.
The two attacking midfield signings replace Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, who all look set to leave the club after their loan spells away from Old Trafford.
Alejandro Garnacho also could have a future away from United, with several clubs interested in the Argentine if his services become available.
Despite several forward outgoings, Jason Wilcox now appears to have turned his attention to a midfield signing, potentially due to the departure of Christian Eriksen.
United’s stance on Zaire-Emery revealed
With United now targeting a midfield signing, their stance on Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaire-Emery has been revealed, after his price tag was revealed if Luis Enrique chooses to sell the talent.
It has reported that the Red Devils are monitoring the Frenchman, as Zaire-Emery continues to play backup to João Neves and Vitinha.
Transfer guru Graeme Bailey told United In Focus: “Zaire-Emery has been the subject of enquiries in recent weeks – Europe’s top clubs all love him and are monitoring his situation carefully, and United are one of those.
“But as it stands, PSG are not looking to let any of their young talent leave, and from what I am told, the player is not pushing for an exit, despite not being the first choice at the moment.”
Bailey later spoke on United’s chances of signing Zaire-Emery: “He is a huge talent, as we know, and United would like to think they could compete for him, but as yet it is not a situation as far as PSG or the player are concerned.”
Collyer could be set for loan move
Despite impressing in his infrequent cameos, Toby Collyer could be set for a loan move away from Old Trafford next season if he wants to play regular first-team football. Some of his displays last term were described as ‘crazy’.

The signings of Cunha and Mbeumo will likely see Bruno Fernandes drop into the deeper section of midfield alongside Casemiro.
Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo will also be competing for minutes in Amorim’s double pivot, but rotation may not come often with just the Premier League to compete in.
Having turned 21 in January, Collyer will be looking for regular football to develop into the player he could be and a loan move could prove his best option.
