Welcome to the full Manchester United weekly guide to the players out on loan, including Facundo Pellistri, Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho.

This weekend saw several of United’s loanees play in their respective teams, and below is an overview of how they performed and the statistics behind their games.

Facundo Pellistri

Facundo Pellistri scored a goal and assisted during Granada’s 3-3 draw against Barcelona. The United winger made an extremely positive impact in just his second game for the Spanish club against the La Liga giants.

His goal came after a great ball to the back post, with Pellistri making a nice run to finish into the empty net. Meanwhile, it was a very nice cutback assist from the United loanee to complete a solid performance.

His full stats suggest a story of not much action but maximum impact. Barcelona managed to scrape a draw after a late equaliser following Pellistri’s exit from the pitch.

FotMob provided Pellistri with an 8.3/10 rating for this encounter.

Alvaro Fernandez

Alvaro Fernandez made his first start for Benfica on Thursday evening in a cup fixture against Vizela. The defender made two appearances from the bench beforehand, and the manager suggested that he could earn his place in the XI soon.

He played 70 minutes in that game, completing 39 out of 43 passes, including four successful long balls. The left-back did win just three out of nine duels, however, and received a yellow card.

Fernandez then played a role from the bench again on Sunday, having 10 minutes of action during the 2-2 draw where Benfica scored in the 90th minute.

The defender was provided with a 6.8/10 rating for his start on Thursday by SofaScore.

Mason Greenwood

Mason Greenwood continued his positive form with Getafe after getting an assist during their 3-2 win over Celta Vigo.

He played the entire game while operating on the right wing, completing 26 out of 31 attempted passes. He also thought he won his side a penalty when it appeared that his shot struck the arm of the opposition defender, and a spot kick was awarded until VAR clarified the on-field mistake.

Greenwood went on to create Getafe’s second goal from a low shot that could only be parried into the path of his teammate, who finished into the empty net.

His assist came in the last minutes of the game, with the score level at 2-2. The winger had moved to the left and delivered a pinpoint cross for Jaime Mata to head in the winner.

FotMob provided Greenwood with a 7.6/10 rating for the game.

Donny van de Beek

Donny van de Beek started on the bench for Frankfurt against VfL Bochum but came on after around 20 minutes following an injury. He was later subbed off in the 84th minute.

The midfielder completed 15 out of 18 passes and had 45 touches on the ball in the 1-1 draw. No goals came from either side whilst he was on the pitch.

Van de Beek received a 6.8/10 rating from FotMob in this clash.

Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho played a couple of minutes in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Freiburg. He has been out injured with a muscular injury, and this was his return after missing their game last weekend.

Hannibal Mejbri

Hannibal Mejbri was an unused substitute during Sevilla’s 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid on the weekend.
