INEOS only have ONE Man United target as latest transfer overhyped
According to reports, INEOS have only decided on one Manchester United target so far ahead of the transfer window, despite rumours claiming otherwise.
With Manchester United set to have a huge summer, INEOS are spending the months leading up to June fine-tuning which players they hope the club will transfer in and out across the 12-week window.
There have been many rumours as to who Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to bring in (including if a new manager will replace Erik ten Hag or not), with a strong amount of noise surrounding Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise and Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.

However, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Olise is the only player who has been identified as an actual concrete target of INEOS for the summer.
Although Branthwaite “ticks a lot of boxes” and is set to be a name United further discusses in the coming months, there is no guarantee that he will be pursued as a target, with the current rumours of an impending offer therefore overhyped.
A big reason for this is the uncertainty over the future of Everton. Should they be relegated, Braithwaite’s price will likely be reduced, but if they survive in the Premier League, they will likely demand at least £70 million for his services.
With this being said, a new centre-back this summer is a key priority for the club, with up to three potentially leaving at the end of the current campaign.
Raphaël Varane and Jonny Evans’ respective contracts expire at the end of June, and Harry Maguire’s future remains uncertain.
Olise is being targeted as the club looks to get rid of multiple wingers this summer. Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood are almost certainly going to depart on permanent deals, while United are open to offers for Antony.
