Harry Kane Manchester United interest reaffirmed as five striker targets emerge
Manchester United have been established to have significant interested in Harry Kane as a summer striker signing option.
Late on Friday evening it was revealed by the Daily Mail that Harry Kane has emerged as a primary target for Erik ten Hag, with the Dutchman looking for a consistent source of goals at Manchester United next season.
It has been said that United’s hierarchy have already started exploring what it would take in order to get the deal done, and that one piece of encouraging information it that the English striker would be open to the move.

Tottenham, Kane’s current employers, have reportedly set an £85 million price tag on the striker, although they are likely to want even more from United considering that the two sides are top six rivals – Chairman Daniel Levy will not want to strengthen a Premier League rival without significant financial influx.
On Saturday morning, it was further confirmed by the Manchester Evening News that United are monitoring Harry Kane’s situation at Tottenham, and are weighing up a summer move for the striker.
However, this report also states that Kane is not the only striker who United are mulling about signing, with Napoli goal scorer Victor Osimhen another name who has appeared multiple times.
5 years younger than Kane, Osimhen is no doubt a much more attractive long-term solution to Erik ten Hag’s striker issues, however is also more of a risk – Kane is a proven Premier League all-time goal scorer, whereas Osimhen is less experienced and coming from a different league.
MEN’s report also mentions Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos and Ajax’s Muhammed Kudus, both of whom impressed the masses with their quality performances during the World Cup – Ten Hag is reportedly admirers of both.

Finally, the fifth striker United have been linked with is Benjemin Sesko, currently plying his trade at RB Salzburg, however a deal for the Slovenian striker would be much more complicated as he was only signed by RB Leipzig last summer before being loaned back to Salzburg, making him a much more difficult target to acquire.
