Fabrizio Romano reveals Manchester United are “already working on” important 2025 transfers
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United are “already working on” important transfers for the 2025 transfer windows.
In the summer of 2024, Manchester United bolstered their squad with the signings of Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, and Manuel Ugarte for Erik ten Hag’s side.
The Dutch manager also oversaw the departure of several key players, including Scott McTominay, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Jadon Sancho, who all moved on to new clubs for the 2024/25 season.
Importantly, the club also saw some exciting deals for young talent completed with Sekou Kone and Chido Obi-Martin being the main additions.
James Overy and Samuel Lusale were also brought in as potential future stars and it is an approach that INEOS are focused on going forward.
Explaining the plan, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the club are already looking at potential deals for young talents for the upcoming transfer windows in 2025.
“I wanted to touch on the strategy of Manchester United. [In the summer] they signed two special talents,” began Romano in his latest YouTube video.
“One is Sekou Kone, the midfielder from Mail, born in 2006. And the other one is Chido Obi-Martin, who decided to leave the academy of Arsenal to join United.
“Remember these two signings, and not just them, because the indication I’m getting is that INEOS really want to build something for the future in terms of signing talents.
“In the past, before the new era with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Man United were missing many opportunities with the scouting [department] telling the board to sign players but United decided to go with different investments.
“With INEOS, this won’t happen again. This is the message of the club. They want to sign talents with potential.
“Man United are already working for more signings like this; players with potential and a big value for the future.
