Brentford tell Christian Eriksen to re-sign from Manchester United amid February transfer report
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has openly pleaded for Christian Eriksen to return to Brentford after two seasons at Manchester United.
Christian Eriksen, after the player left Inter Milan due to heart problems, signed for Brentford for six months and took everyone by surprise at just how good the Danish midfielder was.
So much so that in the summer of 2022, Manchester United swooped in under Erik ten Hag to grab Eriksen as a free agent, with the player having played 63 games for The Reds since, scoring three goals and providing 12 assists.

Eriksen has, however, lost his place in the XI after the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo and the signing of Mason Mount, and Brentford manager Thomas Frank has now revealed that he would love for the 31-year-old to return to the London club.
“He will always be welcome back! Christian will always be. I think he knows that well. And we know he had a good time here,” Frank told Tipsbladet.
“I understood well why he went to United back then, and I’ve said that publicly. I also think he’s done well. Of course, he had an injury before Christmas for a while. But if Christian wants, he’s very welcome.”
Eriksen’s current contract at Manchester United ends next summer, and there have been rumours that he may leave Old Trafford this week for Turkey – however, on Wednesday morning, it was stated that he will stay until the summer despite interest from Galatasaray.
Eriksen is “understood to be happy” at United and is focused on the rest of the season.
