Manchester United midfielder may leave the club before the end of this week
According to reports from Turkey, Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen may be set to leave the club this week.
The report which is from Turkish outlet Fotomac, notes that Eriksen is a target of Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray.
In the report, it is stated that talks between the Erik ten Hag signing and both clubs are well underway, having taken place under ‘great confidentiality’.

According to the report, if the move is successful this week, Galatasaray are prepared to sign the Danish midfielder on loan, with an option to buy permanently at the end of this season – the Turkish transfer window does not close until 9 February.
If Galatasaray are unable to secure Eriksen’s signature before the closure of the Turkish transfer window this Friday, then a ‘promise will be made’ for Eriksen to sign for the club in the summer.
Eriksen’s contract at Manchester United runs until the summer of next year, but the Danish international has fallen out of favour at United in part due to the rise of Kobbie Mainoo.
Playing in fifteen Premier League matches this season, Eriksen has started just nine of those games.
Worse yet, Eriksen was an unused substitute on the United bench for the club’s last three games in all competitions.
If Eriksen is to leave the club, he will become the first of United manager Erik ten Hag’s signings to leave Old Trafford.
United will have to look for an internal replacement for Eriksen should he leave the club, with the club failing to make any signings in last month’s January transfer window.
