“Nothing is decided…” Man United star rejected January move with future uncertain
Manchester United striker Anthony Martial’s future remains uncertain, with the French striker reportely reluctant to rush his next move.
Martial, 28, is currently in his eighth season at United, but as has been a common theme of his career with the Red Devils – he is currently unavailable through injury.
Suffering from his 21st separate case of injury or illness since joining the club, United’s No. 9 has been out of action since the end of January after having to undergo groin surgery.

Unlikely to feature again for Erik ten Hag’s United, it has been widely reported that he will leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
With his contract expiring there has been zero indication that United will be looking to keep the Frenchman on for a ninth season at the club.
However, according to a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Martial chose to reject several offers from clubs in Turkey during the January transfer window.
These offers would have come in before Martial’s most recent injury. However, according to Romano, Martial was “not convinced” by the offers on the table during the window.
“Nothing is decided yet in terms of Martial’s next move – he is going to take time to decide,” Fabrizio Romano informed CaughtOffside. “It’s still early and many clubs still have to clarify their future manager, so Martial will wait for it.
“What I can say is that he was not convinced by proposals from Turkey in January and he wanted to wait. For sure, though, the expectation remains that Martial is set to leave Man United as a free agent this summer.”
Appearing 317 times for United across his eight seasons, Martial has found the back of the net on 90 occasions during his time with the club.
Making an immediate impact upon his transfer deadline day arrival back in 2015, his debut goal against Liverpool would go on to win United’s ‘Goal of the Season’ award for the year.
However, with his constant injuries marring his impact on the side, the Frenchman has unfortunately failed to live up to his £45 million transfer fee.
