Agent confirms Manchester United’s ‘obvious’ interest in £21 million winger

| Last Updated:

One agent has confirmed that Manchester United have an ‘obvious’ interest in his client, with a departure on the cards this summer.

The Reds are looking to make several signings this summer as Erik ten Hag’s side prepare for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.

Joshua Zirkzee is expected to join from Bologna in the coming weeks to bolster the attacking unit, although he might not be the only signing from the Italian outfit.

Boglona exceeded expectations last term, securing Champions League football for the first time since 1965, and that has attracted many European clubs to their star players.

Dan Ndoye is one of those who could leave after impressing for Switzerland during their Euro 2024 campaign.

The £21 million-rated forward played most of his football on the right wing last season and played an important role for Bologna throughout the campaign. He previously played for OGC Nice and Lausanne.

There have been reports linking him to United, and his agent, Fahd Adamson, has addressed the 23-year-old’s situation.

“Well, that’s kind of obvious,” Adamson responded when Blick asked about the interest from United. “United belongs to INEOS, and Dan has already played for the other INEOS clubs, Nice and Lausanne.

“Let’s see what comes of it. We need to discuss this with Dan and his family. It needs to be carefully considered to avoid making a wrong career move.”

United are likely to see both Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho depart the club in the coming weeks, which presents the opportunity to sign a cheap option as depth in the position.

However, the club could also focus on other positions, with Amad Diallo expected to play a more prominent role in the team next season.
