When INEOS will make their final Erik ten Hag decision after Jason Wilcox assessment
INEOS will soon be making their final decision on the future of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag has had a difficult season at United this term after a positive first campaign in 2022/23.
There is still the chance of FA Cup success, however, with the Wembley final against Manchester City coming later this month.
A report from MailOnline states that INEOS will make a call on Ten Hag’s future at the end of the season, given the growing uncertainty over his job.
It was added that no decision is expected to come until after the FA Cup final.
Louis van Gaal was previously sacked from the Old Trafford managerial job after winning the FA Cup at Wembley. His 2016 United side were victorious after extra-time against Crystal Palace.
Jason Wilcox entered the building at United this month after it was confirmed that United reached an agreement with Southampton over compensation.
The former Manchester City academy chief has been tasked with assessing Ten Hag and the squad at United.
According to a recent report from Sam C Reports of The United Stand, in private, Wilcox has acknowledged that the tactical ineptitude of the playing squad is, for the most part, a direct consequence of the injuries sustained in crucial positions this season.
The Reds have had over 50 different cases of illness or injury this term, and Ten Hag regularly references those problems as reasons why the team has struggled.
It was added that the 53-year-old has been on the training ground during sessions to assess the intensity using metrics previously used in the academy of Manchester City.
