Tyrell Malacia joined Manchester United from Feyenoord in July 2022 for £13 million, becoming Erik ten Hag’s first signing. He made 39 appearances in his debut season, contributing to United’s 2022–23 EFL Cup victory. 
A knee injury sidelined him for over 17 months, during which he missed the entire 2023–24 season. After returning to action in late 2024, Malacia was loaned to PSV Eindhoven in February 2025 to regain match fitness and form.
