Manchester United weighing up swap deal for “explosive” 18 y/o star, he wants Premier League move
Manchester United are reportedly lining up a swap move for 18-year-old Brazilian and Flamengo star Lorran in January.
With Rúben Amorim now arriving at Manchester United as the club’s new head coach, they will assess new transfer targets for the coming windows.
It has already been reported that Amorim has requested the side sign players with “intensity” to match the style of football that the 39-year-old is set to play at Old Trafford.

However, Amorim does not have the same transfer veto that Erik ten Hag previously held. Therefore, all transfer decisions will ultimately be made by the football’s leadership, although Amorim is still expected to have a significant say.
In the coming few weeks, United may choose to bring some new firepower to the club in the January transfer window, depending on how quickly Amorim needs new talent.
Targetting an “explosive” star
According to TBRfootball, Manchester United are tracking 18-year-old Brazilian and Flamengo star Lorran and may look to secure a move for the young star in January.
However, the report also states that United face competition from other Premier League sides, such as Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United, who are among other clubs interested in the winger.
There is also pace gathering from those in Europe, with the likes of RB Leipzig, Marseille and Atalanta interested.
However, Lorran is said to be most keen on a Premier League switch. He has emerged as one of the brightest Brazilian talents in recent years.
He has been described as an ‘explosive’ young talent who has the physicality to come with Premier League demands
Antony swap deal proposed
TBR further proposed that United may be looking to use Antony as a makeweight in a possible swap deal with Flamengo as the winger is out of favour at the club.
UtdDistrict understands that Antony will seek clarification on his future as he is not happy with his current levels of game time at the club.
Although the 24-year-old remains dedicated to the team, he is not content with his current lack of minutes, having not started for the club since mid-September in a 7-0 win over Barnsley, and will look for an exit if the situation does not change.
