Manchester United make a decision on Jadon Sancho’s January future
Manchester United have made an initial decision on the future of Jadon Sancho as he looks set to exit Erik ten Hag’s squad in January.
Jadon Sancho is set to leave Manchester United in January after his spat with Erik ten Hag has led to him being banished from all first-team training activities.
He has received interest from Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, although neither club are willing to meet United’s £50-60 million demands, and are leaning towards a loan deal instead.

One big sticking point is in relation to Jadon Sancho’s wages – the player is estimated to be earning at least £300,000k a week, and a new club would unlikely want to take on this entire bill for a loan player.
With this in mind, according to the Daily Mail, United are therefore made the decision that they are happy to subsidise his wages if they are able to secure a loan move for him as they are eager to see him leave in January.
Jadon Sancho has been absent from the United squad since the beginning of September, and the situation is looking more and more like he has already played his final game for the club.
Despite reports of his United and England teammates urging him to apologise to Ten Hag for claiming the manager was scapegoating him, this is yet to happen, with the player also keen to leave Old Trafford.
Sancho has become the latest in a line of players disciplined for failing to adhere to Ten Hag’s rules and standards, with others such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford being reprimanded for previous problems.
