Jadon Sancho has made his final decision on his future at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag amid January interest.

Jadon Sancho‘s future at Manchester United has been a hot topic across the last few months after he was banished from Erik ten Hag‘s squad due to claims that he was being scapegoated.

This was prompted after Ten Hag explained that Sancho was left out of the squad to face Arsenal at the beginning of September due to poor fitness levels, with Sancho refuting this.

Ten Hag, as he has been throughout his tenure as Manchester United manager, was firm in his reaction to Sancho’s statement, banning him from first-team training, and when the player did not apologise, he was further banned from the squad entirely – including eating with them and being in the dressing room.

And now, according to the information of Scott Saunders and Graeme Bailey, Sancho has made a final decision on his future – he wants to rejoin Borussia Dortmund in January.

A number of clubs in Germany are said to be interested in Sancho and ready to make a move for him in 2024, but the English winger is only interested in returning to his former team.

The relationship between the player and Dortmund remains strong and has done so throughout his tenure at Old Trafford, which gives encouragement that a deal can be completed – a loan with an obligation to buy is said to be the most likely outcome.

Previous reports have said that United would look to sell at a fee of around £45-50 million, but the current situation may lower any final agreed fee.
