Manchester United think they have found Erik ten Hag’s replacement for Jadon Sancho as the player continues to be banned.

Jadon Sancho‘s Manchester United career looks increasingly like it is coming to an end in January, with the player still banned from Erik ten Hag‘s squad.

He has been unavailable to play since he was left out of the squad that lost 3-1 to Arsenal, with Ten Hag explaining after the fixture that Sancho was left out due to poor training – something the player refuted, claiming there were alternative reasons for his absence that he would not divulge publically.

This has led to Sancho being banished from the squad with no way back unless he apologises to Ten Hag, which so far has not happened.

And now, with this in mind, it looks like Sancho will be either sold or loaned as soon as the window opens in January, with United lining up a replacement.

According to Calciomercato, United have identified Federico Chiesa as their target to replace the English winger.

The 25-year-old Juventus player is reportedly the main player who is desired to replace Sancho, with the report stating that Ten Hag wants the deal done as early as January.

A move for Chiesa is said to have to cost over £50 million, which is around the price that United are looking for Sancho – and with United’s money situation currently tight, the chances are that they will have to sell before they can consider buying.
