Manchester United join Arsenal and Chelsea in race for Serie A star, he could impact “amazing” star’s future

A recent report has said that Manchester United are one of the three Premier League sides in the hunt for a Serie A forward after his brilliant start to the season.

Manchester United’s summer transfer business was much better than it has been in recent seasons. Jason Wilcox had a great window as Director of Football.

While Rúben Amorim’s side needed big improvements across the pitch, Wilcox focused on bringing in new attackers to bolster the frontline after losing Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford in the summer.

Mathues Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo joined from two Premier League sides to add a proven ability to the front three, with Benjamin Šeško also signing from RB Leipzig.

Despite the summer transfers, United have failed to get on the scoresheet on two occasions already this season; more forward signings could be made in January of next summer.

United in hunt for Yildiz

Kenan Yildiz is a versatile attacker playing for Juventus in the Serie A. At just 20 years old, he already has 89 Old Lady appearances to his name, and he is only getting better.

The Turkey international has been linked with European Giants since his Juventus debut in 2023, but his name has again appeared as an option for Chelsea and United, according to Bianconera News.

Now, Arsenal have also joined the race for Yildiz, leaving a big decision for Amorim and Wilcox. If they want to sign the left-winger, they will have to act fast.

The 20-year-old has already registered three assists in the Serie A this season, having also netted against Inter Milan in a 4-3 thriller. He is one of the most exciting talents in Europe.

However, Yildiz would be competing for minutes with Mason Mount and Cunha on the left side of the frontline, and Amorim should focus on improving the midfield before a new forward joins the club.

Yildiz transfer would seal Amad’s future

Amad played as an attacking midfielder against Manchester City and Chelsea, alongside Mbeumo behind Šeško. Amorim has continued to use him in an advanced role, despite playing as a right-wing-back for the most part.

However, signing Yildiz would force Amad, described as an amazing player. back to right-wing-back indefinitely, and almost end the chances of him playing as a No.10 for United again.

While this could help him improve at wing-back, the Ivorian remains more of an attacker than a defender, and taking away the chance to play in the frontline away from him could see him look for a move.

If Wilcox wants to sign another star in January, his focus has to be on a new midfielder to play instead of Casemiro or Manuel Ugarte in defensive midfield.
