Manchester United “intensively” analysing Bayern Munich star who scored vs André Onana
It is no secret that Manchester United are looking to sign another striker this summer, with their forward options diminishing.
Rasmus Højlund has picked up a fantastic vein of form in the last two months, having scored in five Premier League appearances in a row for Manchester United.
He is Erik ten Hag‘s only recognised striker that he can rely upon, with Marcus Rashford occupying the left wing and Anthony Martial unavailable until the end of April and leaving in the summer.

With this in mind, United are keen to sign a new striker in order to compete and complement Rasmus Højlund, and according to Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg, They have been eyeing up Mathys Tel.
According to the report, United have analysed the Bayern Munich star “intensively” in the last few weeks. The club met Tel earlier on in the season, where the 18-year-old Frenchman scored against Onana during a 4-3 loss at the Allianz Arena.
United have reportedly contacted his management team and have inquired about a potential transfer in the summer.
With all this in mind, at this stage, Tel is said to be 100 per cent focused on finishing the season with FC Bayern, but the report suggests that a move cannot be ruled out at this point.
Plettenberg also adds that United’s interest in striker Joshua Zirkzee is still present, but has somewhat diminished in recent times.
