Manchester United in “very advanced” talks to sign Radu Drăgușin in January window
Manchester United are reportedly in “very advanced” talks to sign Genoa central defender Radu Drăgușin in January.
Manchester United are setting their sights on signing a central defender in the January window as Erik ten Hag identifies four positions he wants to add quality to in the new year.
Injuries have seen Manchester United lack defensive stability, with Raphaël Varane, Lisandro Martínez, and Jonny Evans having all faced spells on the sidelines.

And now, according to ProSport, United are targeting 21-year-old Genoa centre-back Radu Drăgușin in order to boost their options for the remainder of the season.
According to the report, Manchester United are ready to put in significant financial efforts to secure Drăgușin in January and have been on the phone with Genoa in order to sort a deal.
It is said that Genoa want around £25 million for the player, which was also stated by his agent Florin Manea last month – and when taking into account the price and his ability, Ten Hag reportedly believes that Drăgușin would be a fantastic addition to his team.
This comes after news that Raphaël Varane looks to be on his way out of the club after he was dropped by Ten Hag, who cited tactical reasons for his decision.
Varane is being monitored by Bayern Munich, although his wages are likely to pose a problem. United want around £20 million for the player. Drăgușin may come in as an ideal replacement for the Frenchman.
