Four Premier League clubs vying for Manchester United star with bid “expected”
Manchester United currently have four Premier League clubs reportedly circling Scott McTominay this summer amid a summer rebuild under Erik ten Hag.
Scott McTominay’s 2023/24 season at Manchester United has been his most productive yet, with the midfielder netting 10 goals under Erik ten Hag‘s management.
Since making his debut under Jose Mourinho in 2017, McTominay has been a versatile asset for every manager he has played under during his seven-year tenure with the first team. Despite his utility, the 2023/24 season appears to be his last at Old Trafford.

UtdDistrict understands that Manchester United are fully open to selling McTominay in the current transfer window.
In 2023, McTominay was on the brink of leaving the club, with a £30 million transfer to West Ham nearly finalised. However, the deal ultimately collapsed, and he remained with United for another season.
Now, with INEOS needing to generate funds to bring new talent into the squad, McTominay is attracting interest from various Premier League clubs.
According to Manchester World, there are four teams in the English top flight who are interested in securing McTominay this summer, with previous reports claiming that Fulham are hoping to strike a deal.
With Fulham one team named by Manchester World, Fulham seem to be competing with Newcastle United, West Ham United, and newly-promoted Southampton also interested in the 27-year-old, with at least one bid said to be “expected”.
McTominay is currently enjoying three weeks of holiday granted to him by the club following Scotland’s exit from the 2024 European Championships but is expected to rejoin the squad before they fly off to the USA for pre-season.
The rest of the squad, who are not currently away on international duty, or Rasmus Højlund and Christian Eriksen, who are also on holiday, are set to return to Carrington on Monday, 8 July.
