Manchester United have “received multiple approaches” for one £70 million star, who was cast away from the first-team after the Europa League final
After a poor season in the Premier League, the Europa League was the only shimmer of light for Manchester United last season, but the poor result in the final made it a dismal year for the Red Devils.
A win in the final would’ve secured Champions League football for Rúben Amorim, but the loss to Tottenham Hotspur means that no European football will be played at Old Trafford next season.
Several players could look to leave United, with playing in Europe seen as crucial for players before the World Cup next summer.
Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, who both spent time on loan last season, look set to leave the club, but selling them could be difficult due to their high wage demands.
Antony also looks set to leave United after his impressive loan campaign, with Real Betis interested in making his temporary move a permanent one this summer.
United “receive multiple approaches” for Garnacho
There have already been developments over the potential sale of Sancho this week, and now there is further movement regarding another United outcast.
After his comments to the media in the immediate aftermath of the Europa League final, Alejandro Garnacho was subject to a brutal message from Amorim, in which the manager made it clear he wanted the Argentine to leave the club.
GiveMeSport have reported that Garnacho, who United value at £70 million, has been subject to interest from several clubs, stating that the Red Devils “have received multiple approaches in recent days” for the winger.
With interest from Italy and Spain, Garnacho doesn’t appear to be short of suitors despite his poor performances for United last season, playing out of position as an attacking midfielder, rather than from the left flank.
The Argentine appears to have already been replaced by Jason Wilcox, as Matheus Cunha will play largely on the left of Amorim’s front three, the usual position Garnacho took up for the Portuguese manager.
Bryan Mbeumo could be another signing to replace Garnacho in the frontline, with the Cameroonian looking almost certain to join United after links with Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur.
Rashford could stay at Old Trafford
With several forward options already looking destined to leave the club, Rashford could yet remain at United, especially if Rasmus Hojlund leaves the club on loan.
During his 17 appearances for Aston Villa, Rashford netted four goals and registered five assists for the club, playing as both a left winger and as a centre forward.

The Englishman’s creativity could be the reason for Amorim to keep him at Old Trafford next season, with Cunha and Mbeumo both goalscoring No.10s, rather than creative players.
Despite playing just six games for Amorim, Rashford scored three goals for the former Sporting CP manager, including a brace against Everton. Perhaps, the academy graduate will stay next season, so United can focus on other positions in the transfer window.
