Manchester United expected XI vs Burnley as Erik ten Hag finally makes fans happy
Erik ten Hag is set to finally make fans happy as he selects his Manchester United XI to face Burnley in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are looking to make it two wins in a row in the Premier League as they prepare to face Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
During the week, Erik ten Hag‘s men managed only their second win in eight league games, coming back from behind twice to defeat Sheffield United on Wednesday evening. They will no doubt be using the remaining five games of the league season to prepare for the upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City.

André Onana, who was at fault for Sheffield’s first goal in midweek, will no doubt keep his place in the starting XI, continuing his spotless record of starts in the competition since he signed for the club last summer.
In defence, Ten Hag revealed in his pre-match press conference that he does not expect any of his injuries in that area to return ahead of Saturday, meaning the back four will stay the same.
Diogo Dalot started at left back against Sheffield and was effective in the position, meaning he will likely keep his place there. The rest of the back four is expected to consist of Harry Maguire, Casemiro, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the latter starting at right back.

In midfield, Erik ten Hag is expected to finally make fans happy as he brings Mason Mount back into the XI for the first time since 1 November, when Newcastle United lost 3-0 in the Carabao Cup.
Fans have been calling for the England international to start ever since he returned from his four-month injury layoff last month. He is expected to replace Christian Eriksen in the starting XI to join Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park.
There was a slight worry over Fernandes after he broke his hand against Coventry City last weekend, but started and produced a Man of the Match performance against Sheffield. He is expected to be available and continue his place.
Up front, Ten Hag is expected to make a second change that will please fans. With Marcus Rashford out through injury, the Dutch manager opted to start Antony on Wednesday evening, but after an ineffective display, he chose to substitute the Brazilian winger after 55 minutes to be replaced with Amad Diallo.
Amad then performed well, prompting many fans to call for the Ivorian youngster to start against Burnley on the right wing—which is expected to happen.
Beyond this, Alejandro Garnacho will continue his string of starts on the left-hand side, while Rasmus Højlund will play up front after breaking his 6-game goal drought.
Expected Man United XI
Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Maguire, Dalot, Mainoo, Mount, Fernandes, Amad, Højlund, Garnacho.
