Man United receive Casemiro transfer update as club prepares £34m bid
Manchester United have received a new update on midfielder Casemiro ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Casemiro, 32, joined United in the summer of 2022 and enjoyed a successful individual season during his first campaign in England.
However, this term, the Brazilian midfielder has experienced major difficulties and there seem to be doubts over his Old Trafford future.
With three years remaining on his United deal, the club could be hoping to receive at least £30 million for the five-time Champions League winner to aid their summer recruitment.
Casemiro bid being prepared
According to Caught Offside, Al Nassr have already held talks with the representatives of Casemiro over a potential transfer, with the player open to leaving Old Trafford for the right offer.
The report added that the Saudio League club are ready to attempt a bid of around £34 million to United for the Brazilian midfielder. They are prepared to offer him a three-year deal.
Finally, it was stated that while Casemiro himself has yet to make a decision on his future, the growing feeling is that he and United could go their separate ways this summer if the circumstances are right.
The correct move
While the move initially seemed like a good deal, it is clear that United did not really consider the long term when signing Casemiro.

His form is not solely his fault, with the entire team playing poorly this season, but it seems like a good idea to separate now rather than struggling to move him on if he has another poor year next season.
He is also at the age where Saudi clubs could still splash the cash, so United will be hoping they can push the potential £34 million offer upwards.
