“Expect him soon…” Manchester United delivered fantastic Leny Yoro injury update
Manchester United have been delivered a fantastic update on Leny Yoro’s injury status as Erik ten Hag provides the latest on the centre-back’s rehabilitation.
When Manchester United announced the signing of 18-year-old Leny Yoro from Lille for approximately £52 million, fans worldwide were buzzing with anticipation to see the young French talent in action.
United triumphed over Real Madrid in a fiercely contested transfer battle, as many believed that Los Blancos had the deal all but secured. However, the new board, led by CEO Omar Berrada, managed to shift the momentum in United’s favour.

Yoro made his debut in a friendly match against Rangers, where he played for 45 minutes. Just a week later, he started against Arsenal in the USA but had to be substituted after 30 minutes due to a foot injury, which ultimately sidelined him for three months.
Following surgery, Yoro has been diligently working on his rehabilitation to regain full fitness, and in a new update, Erik ten Hag has delivered fantastic news.
Speaking to MUTV ahead of the side’s Premier League battle with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon, Ten Hag explained that Yoro’s rehabilitation is going in the right direction, and the young star could be back soon.
“Yes, he is doing very well,” began the Dutch manager when asked about Yoro by club media.
“It is very pleasing that his rehab is going in the right direction, and I expect him soon, but what I mean by soon is that he is now in the right planning process.
“He is in the right spot and he will return as soon as possible into the squad and then the team training.”
Reports earlier this week indicated that Yoro is targeting a return at the beginning of December, but depending on how quickly he can regain his fitness, this may be earlier.
