Gary Neville suggests Sir Jim Ratcliffe SACKS Erik ten Hag after Manchester United embarrassment
Gary Neville has seemingly suggested that Sir Jim Ratcliffe must sack Erik ten Hag following Manchester Untied’s embarrassing 3-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United faced their third defeat in the Premier League this season, losing 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur.
The match began with Spurs quickly taking the lead through a goal by Brennan Johnson, and they relentlessly attacked André Onana‘s goal throughout the first half.

In a pivotal moment, Bruno Fernandes received a red card just before halftime for a reckless tackle on James Maddison, which shifted the momentum entirely.
Tottenham capitalized on their numerical advantage, doubling their lead early in the second half. Despite United’s efforts to mount a comeback, Spurs added a third goal with 15 minutes left, courtesy of Dominic Solanke.
Speaking towards the end of the tie, while the television cameras were focused on the Dutch manager, former United captain Gary Neville proclaimed that the problems on the field must be dealt with at the “root” cause, seemingly suggesting that club co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe must sack Ten Hag for the problems to change.
Further, Neville went on to praise Tottenham, also explaining that the side where at their “very worst” on Sunday evening.
“Brilliant from Tottenham, and we should talk about that first because it shouldn’t be lost that we’d be saying pretty harsh words about Ange Postecoglou [and] Spurs if they were on the receiving end of this type of performance today.
“They were outstanding. They played really good football from minute one, they settled into the game and they got really good goals at the right times, and their £60m man (Solanke) gets one as well. Van der Ven was special for that first goal.
“But for Manchester United…the Manchester United fans boo the referee going off in that corner, but that’s only half the story.
“The story today is that in that first half…you can’t say ‘from nowhere’, because Manchester United have been inconsistent all season, but they have chosen to put in the very worst performance, their very worst possible showing.
“It was an absolutely disgusting performance in that first half, in effort, quality, everything you want in a football team. There are going to be a lot of questions to answer for that group and the manager in the next week.”
