Player Ratings: Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League)
Manchester United lost 3-0 against Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League clash, with Bruno Fernandes receiving a first-half red card.
Despite conceding just one goal in the opening half, this was one of the worst performances of an Erik ten Hag team since he joined the club.
United looked clueless and it did not help that Spurs scored at the start of the second half as well.
The team provided a decent response to the Old Trafford crowd, who were still pushing them on, before Spurs finished the game with a third.
Player ratings are below.
André Onana – 6.5/10
Not much he could do about the goals. Seven saves.
Noussair Mazraoui – 4/10
Poor moments throughout but one important interception to stop a certain goal. Better second half.
Matthijs de Ligt – 4/10
Shaky game.
Lisandro Martínez – 2/10
Extremely wasteful in possession and missed two good chances.
Diogo Dalot – 2.5/10
Very sloppy and unable to get back in position for the opener.
Manuel Ugarte – 2/10
Poor, slow on and off the ball. Game looked to fast for him.
Kobbie Mainoo – 5/10
OK. Helped create the best chance for United. Came off with an injury.
Alejandro Garnacho – 4/10
A couple positive moments and smashed the post. Looked brighter in the second half during United’s spell in the final third.
Bruno Fernandes – 1/10
Poor once again and received a red card. Might have been slightly harsh but it was a silly decision.
Marcus Rashford – 3/10
Nothing really came off for him.
Joshua Zirkzee – 3/10
A quiet game, not as influential on the ball.
