Form Guide: Manchester United vs Leeds United (Premier League)
Manchester United host a struggling Leeds United at Old Trafford and The Red Devils will be hoping to make it 14 consecutive wins at home as the Theatre of Dreams is once again becoming a fortress.
Manchester United will be heading into this game full of confidence due to this impenetrable recent home record but a key member, Casemiro, will not be available due to the Brazilian seeing a red card in the most recent Premier League game, a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.
Leeds United, however, will have their tails between their legs as the last time they won in the league was on the 5th of November with this run of poor form leaving them above the relegation zone on goal difference and without a manager, as Jesse Marsch was sacked on Monday.

Manchester United have been one of the top-form teams in England since the resumption of football after the Qatar World Cup.
Free-flowing goal contributions from Marcus Rashford and team goals of the highest quality have resulted in Erik ten Hag‘s men oozing confidence and going from strength to strength after every game.
Their last defeat was against league leaders Arsenal in a thrilling 3-2 fixture at the Emirates Stadium. Although disappointed not to have come away with at least a point, United impressed spectators with the fact that they could push the Gunners to the limit as the North London hunt for their first Premier League title in 19 years.
Since then Manchester United have breezed past anyone who is in their way including booking a place in the Carabao Cup final by beating Nottingham Forest 5-0 over two legs and progressed to the 5th round of the FA Cup beating Championship side Reading 3-1.
The only negative to the Reading game was the severe injury to Christian Eriksen thanks to a horror tackle from Andy Carroll which somehow escaped a booking.
Manchester United’s last game was another home victory, a somewhat comfortable 2-1 score-line against Palace.

On the face of it, Leeds’ recent form doesn’t look that bad. However, those two wins have both come in the FA Cup – in the Premier League, the Yorkshire side is close to drowning.
Leeds have been unlucky for most of the season as they have been competitive in their games, however bounces and decisions have gone against them. Big chances missed against Aston Villa and not much firepower against Brentford led to The Whites losing 2-1 and drawing 0-0 respectively.
As mentioned before, their only joy has been in the FA Cup, progressing somewhat comfortably to the fifth round by beating Cardiff City 5-2 at home in the third-round replay and Accrington Stanley 3-1 in the fourth. The FA Cup might bring respite from their Premier League struggles however safety from the drop has to be the club’s main priority.
This is perhaps seen by the sacking of Jesse Marsch after another defeat, this time to Nottingham Forest thanks to a stunning volley from Brennan Johnson, the American’s Ted Lasso-esque enthusiasm wasn’t producing results and he has now been replaced by a trio of caretaking coaches until a permanent manager is found.
