Manchester United will look to stretch their winning run at Old Trafford to 14 games as they host Leeds United in the Premier League on Wednesday night, without Casemiro.

Erik ten Hag‘s side returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday after winning 2-1 against Crystal Palace. They were also aided in their chances of securing Champions League qualification with their closest competitors, Newcastle United, dropping points.

A win against managerless Leeds United would see United go five points clear of Newcastle and, more importantly, six points ahead of fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite being heavy favourites in the clash, United will have to win without several first-team players.

Manchester United

As mentioned earlier, The Reds will be without the crucial figure of Casemiro for the next three domestic games, starting on Wednesday.

The Brazilian received a red card for his involvement in the melee between United and Palace’s players.

Ten Hag will be left short in his midfield selection, with Scott McTominay still building up his fitness, paving the way for a full debut for Bayern Munich loanee Marcel Sabitzer.

Ten Hag confirmed in his pre-match presser that Anthony Martial and Antony would not be available for tomorrow’s fixture.

While Donny van de Beek and Christian Eriksen remain sidelined for the Reds, Diogo Dalot is seemingly back in contention and will undoubtedly battle for his place in the starting XI with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Leeds United

Weston McKennie is in line for his full debut, and the recent performances of Marc Roca would encourage the change.

The Yorkshire side will be without a couple of players, including  Rodrigo, Stuart Dallas, Sonny Perkins and Adam Forshaw — all being injured.

Robin Koch will return after serving his ban and will be in contention to start on Wednesday.

Georginio Rutter’s cameo and the injury worries of Patrick Bamford could see the former start from the offset.

The Leeds faithful has bellowed the reintegration of Crysencio Summerville. His first half of the season, including winning goals against Liverpool and Bournemouth, was one of the few shining lights of a dark part of the season.
