Erik ten Hag reveals his Manchester United sack possibility after Spurs defeat

Erik ten Hag is convinced that he will remain in the job at Manchester United despite a terrible start to the 2024/25 campaign.
Manchester United suffered their third defeat in six Premier League matches, losing 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs opened the scoring early with a goal from Brennan Johnson and kept up the pressure on André Onana’s goal throughout the first half.
United’s situation worsened just before halftime when Bruno Fernandes was sent off for a reckless tackle on James Maddison, causing their performance to unravel.
Tottenham extended their lead shortly after the break, and despite United’s efforts to respond, Spurs sealed the win with a third goal from Dominic Solanke in the final 15 minutes.
It was United’s worst performance of the season and it seems that external pressure is growing for Ten Hag, who called for patience before the game.
A reporter asked Ten Hag if he was worried that INEOS would decide to sack him in his post-match press conference.
“No I am not thinking about this,” he responded, with the manager in full belief that everyone at the club is on the same page.
“We all made this decision to stay together in summer, as ownership group, leadership group,” he added.
“Also we made the decision, after a clear review, what we have to improve as an organisation and how to construct a squad.
“All decisions made in togetherness, also knowing it would take some time. We are all there on one page, one boat, the ownership, the leadership group, the staff, players too.”
Omar Berrada and Dan Ashworth displayed their support for Ten Hag at the beginning of the month but it is clear that things need to quickly improve if the Dutchman is going to have a future at the club.
