Erik ten Hag praises two ‘very good’ Man United players ahead of Bournemouth clash

Erik ten Hag has made two changes to his Manchester United line-up to face Bournemouth in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
The Reds are looking to build on their positive display against Chelsea on Wednesday evening, where they managed to win 2-1 following a dominant performance.
Now, up against a confident Bournemouth side, Ten Hag has decided to replace Rasmus Hojlund in the lineup with Anthony Martial.
The manager believes that Martial had a ‘very good’ display against Everton, where he scored in a 3-0 win at Goodison Park, and whilst he admitted the Frenchman did not perform against Newcastle United last weekend, Ten Hag has challenged Martial to prove he can excel within the busy schedule.
“Hojlund, he played a lot of games, many games to play as well, but also to give Anthony Martial the opportunity,” he told club media.
“He played very good against Everton, less good against Newcastle, but he has to prove it every day.”
Meanwhile, there has been a change at the back for United as Sergio Reguilon comes in for Victor Lindelof, who is absent from the squad with an injury.
Luke Shaw will again move into the centre after a similar move was successful on Wednesday. “Sergio came in for Victor [against Chelsea] and did very good,” added Ten Hag.
Despite the success against The Blues in the press, Ten Hag has explained that he expects a different kind of game against Andoni Iraola‘s side.
“They [Bournemouth] are in form, very good running and transition team, so we have to play our best. They don’t play out so much from the back, whereas Chelsea are very different in approach.
“But as I’ve said, they have a very good game plan, their style, and they are in good form, so we have to play our best.”
