United are set to play Brighton at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, with Ten Hag hosting a press conference ahead of the fixture on Friday.

On Antony, Ten Hag was asked if he has any indication of when the Brazilian could return to the squad, to which he replied: “No idea.

“Of course, he is disappointed,” Ten Hag continued. “But he is okay.”

Ten Hag also confirmed that the club have two injury returns after it was feared that the squad may have up to 11 players out for the fixture.

Both Lisandro Martínez and Victor Lindelöf had to be substituted due to injury and illness respectively as United lost 3-1 to Arsenal, with both players potentially doubts for the game.

Ten Hag, however, has confirmed that both players are available to start, making them the likely central defensive pairing when Brighton visit Old Trafford.

The topic of who they will face is still in the air, as both Evan Ferguson and Danny Welbeck are both doubts for the tie.
