Erik ten Hag receives fresh injury blow ahead of Man United vs Bournemouth

Erik ten Hag has been handed yet another Manchester United injury blow ahead of the team’s away clash against Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The Reds have travelled down south to face Andoni Iraola’s side following a difficult period of results.
Ten Hag’s men have dropped points in all of their last three games after being in winning positions late in the game.

Difficulties this season on the pitch have been amplified by the squad’s injury issues. Ten Hag has dealt with over 50 different counts of injury or illness this season.
The latest comes just before United’s game against The Cherries, with Antony not being in the squad.
Antony has picked up an injury ahead of the game that kept him out of selection. In his place is 18-year-old striker Ethan Wheatley, who makes his first appearance on the first-team bench.
The lineup remains the same as the last game against Liverpool. “I think the second half last week [was] a good performance,” said Ten Hag. “A very good draw against Liverpool, and I think we could have won as well.”
The frontline includes Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho operating from the wings and Rasmus Højlund through the middle.
Kick-off is at 5:30pm (UK time), with the game being shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
