There have been two Manchester United hints about Erik ten Hag’s squad to face Bournemouth this weekend.

The Reds need a victory after dropping points in their last three Premier League ties. It will be a difficult game after losing against The Cherries at Old Trafford earlier this season.

Harry Amass, who made his first appearance in a squad for Erik ten Hag last weekend against Liverpool, could be in line for another spot in the matchday squad this weekend.

The teenage left-back was not included in the squads for either of the Under-18s or Under-21s fixtures this weekend, so it appears likely that Ten Hag wants him to stay with his team in case of injury.

He joined the club in the summer and recently signed his first professional contract after turning 17 last month.

Another player who was touted with a potential call-up to the first team was 18-year-old centre-back Jack Kingdon.

United currently only have Harry Maguire and Willy Kambwala fit for the position in the centre of defence.

It was reported by the Manchester Evening News that Kingdon was promoted to the first-team training squad ahead of the Bournemouth clash.

However, the defender was involved in the Under-18s victory against Stoke City on Saturday morning, ruling him out of a place in the first-team squad, who have already travelled to Bournemouth.

Instead, it is likely that Casemiro would drop into the defence if an injury was to occur to Kambwala or Maguire during or before the game.

Further news from X account AcademyScoop has also revealed that academy striker Ethan Wheatley will be part of the first-team squad to face Bournemouth.

It is reported that the youngster has impressed Ten Hag and his coaches in first-team training recently.
