David de Gea reverses Saudi Pro League decision after Manchester United exit
David de Gea is now in talks with a Saudi Pro League club seven months after leaving Manchester United for free in June 2023.
David de Gea has been without a club since July 2023 after he left Manchester United after 12 years at Old Trafford.
His time at United had moments of extreme highs followed by deep lows, and after one season in charge Erik ten Hag decided to swap tact and bring in André Onana as the club’s new goalkeeper.

With the Spaniard not being able to find a club to join since, it has been said that he is considering a move to Saudi Arabia.
A source has informed ESPN that David de Gea is drawing interest from various European clubs and the Saudi Pro League, including Al Shabab.
The source revealed that De Gea initially turned down an offer from the Saudi Pro League during the summer but has engaged in discussions with Al Shabab since then.
The same source mentioned that while De Gea would prefer to continue his career in Europe, he has not dismissed the possibility of joining a team in the Saudi Pro League.
De Gea made 545 appearances for United during his time at the club, playing just over 49,000 minutes in the process.
