Anthony Martial offers himself to European giant as Man United striker rejects free transfer
According to several reports, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial will reject a move to the Saudi Pro League in a bid to continue his career in one of Europe’s best leagues.
Martial, 28, has had a troubled time at Old Trafford. Despite making 317 appearances and scoring 90 goals for the Red Devils, the attacker’s constant injury woes have stopped him from reaching his full potential.
Now, with less than two months left on his current contract, Martial’s exit from Manchester is just a matter of weeks away.

Before his latest spell on the sidelines, Martial rejected a January move to several clubs in Turkey, with Super Lig side Fenerbahce one of many that attempted to sign the French attacker.
Now, a recent report from FootballTransfers has stated that Martial is expected to reject any approach he may receive from sides in the Saudi Pro League this summer.
The report notes that Martial would instead prefer a move to either France or Italy and would only consider a move to a Saudi Pro League side if he was offered a “sizeable pay packet.”
FootballTransfers’ report aligns with several reports that have emerged regarding Martial’s future, with Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that Martial’s representatives have offered his services to Serie A giants Inter Milan.
GDS’ report notes that Inter are interested in Martial, but he is not seen as a priority target. Instead, Inter will only pursue a move for Martial if they are unsuccessful in their attempt to secure the services of Genoa striker Albert Guðmundsson.
Though there remains a possibility that Martial may be playing football in Milan this time next year, one side that rejected the possibility of signing the Frenchman is Olympique Lyonnais.
Elsewhere, HITC claimed last week that fellow Ligue 1 side Nice are looking into offering Martial a return to France, but they’re aware Martial is likely to have a wealth of options on the table.
