Amad Diallo has flung his name into the headlines following his winning goal as Manchester United defeated Liverpool 4-3 in the FA Cup.
Following a crazy fixture that saw both Manchester United and Liverpool swing blow for blow in the FA Cup quarter-finals, it was Amad Diallo who stepped up in the 120+2nd minute to send Erik ten Hag‘s men to Wembley.
Amad’s time at United has mainly seen him find success away from the club, with the player finding his best form on loan at Sunderland last season.

Although he was initially meant to go on loan again last summer, an injury in pre-season stalled this move, and he has only made four appearances since returning at the end of December.
However, with Amad adamant that he wanted to stay at the club despite loan offers in January, he has now had his moment at Old Trafford with his fantastic winning goal.
“Dream come true,” Amad told the BBC after scoring his winning goal. “That goal will give me a lot of confidence, and I want to continue like this. I’m very happy. The most important thing is to win this game.”
Amad also revealed that, just before his strike, he had the idea to pass the ball back to Garnacho but could not do so because the defender was between the players.
“I wanted to give it (the ball) back to Garnacho, but I saw the defender, and I had to go on my own. It is unbelievable. It is a dream for me to score the last goal for Manchester United.
“I want to say thanks to the supporters. It is one of the best games of the season, so we want to continue like this.”
