Manchester United will face Coventry City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup after they defeated Liverpool 4-3 in the quarter-final at Old Trafford.

After Scott McTominay opened the scoring in the 10th minute, Alexis Mac Allister and Mohammed Salah helped the visiting side take the lead just before half-time.
The second half was a drag, with United looking down and out, but a goal in the final few minutes from substitute Antony sent the 2-2 fixture to extra time.
Harvey Elliot then gave Liverpool their lead back in the 110th minute, but goals from Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo in the final five minutes of extra time secured the win for United in dramatic fashion.
“Man United were criticised a couple of months ago for going to Anfield to get nil all draw for parking the bus,” Roy Keane said on ITV following the end of the game. “They didn’t park the bus today.
“It’s huge. I think trying to get momentum into the season. If they’d lost today especially the second half the way the game was going to look like you’re gonna lose the game. We keep talking about belief, belief in terms of winning big football matches you’re at Man United to win big football matches.
“They’ve lost far too many this year. They’ve not turned up again in the big games that turned up today. hopefully, that will give belief to the players, and we look forward to the semi-final draw. “
