When Man United are expected to complete Noussair Mazraoui deal after £21m agreement
Manchester United are expected to make their third signing of the summer after agreeing a £21 million deal for Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui.
The Reds have bolstered their squad this summer by signing Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee, addressing two key areas that needed improvement in Erik ten Hag’s team.
However, several other positions still require attention before the transfer window closes. To facilitate further signings, United will need to offload some players from their current squad.
In recent weeks, Mason Greenwood and Willy Kambwala have left the club, while Raphaël Varane and Anthony Martial departed at the end of their contracts last month.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a potential move to West Ham, as the Reds aim to acquire Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui as his replacement.
It has now been reported by Footmercato that United have reached a verbal agreement to sign Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.
The report explained that the only thing missing is an agreement on personal terms between West Ham and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United’s right-back is is expected to join The Hammers after an agreement between the clubs was reached. It was detailed that the salary offer from the London-based side should convince Wan-Bissaka of the move.
It was further explained that the agreement with Bayern Munich for the player is estimated at around £21 million, and a total agreement has been reached on personal terms.
The report concluded that “all the lights are green for his arrival in the coming days.”
