Thomas Tuchel addresses Benjamin Pavard Manchester United links
Bayern Munich Manchester Thomas Tuchel has issued his perspective on Benjamin Pavard’s proposed move to Manchester United.
Manchester United are looking to sell Harry Maguire this summer, and although his £30 million move to West Ham collapsed over personal terms, there is still a solid chance that the former captain leaves this summer.
Multiple reports have claimed that Erik ten Hag is targeting Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard as a replacement for the English central defender, although there are complications that need to be resolved before any deal can be struck.

Thomas Tuchel offered his thoughts on the matter to the press, explaining that the player has not stated any desire to leave as of yet.
“Benji hasn’t communicated to me that he really wants to leave,” Tuchel told reporters in his press conference on Thursday.
“As of now, there hasn’t been an offer. He’s our player and gets full support. Until that changes, we’re fully counting on him.”
There are two other options on the table if Maguire were to leave, with Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo the preferred choice over him and Bayern Laverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba.
Harry Maguire was an unused substitute against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday evening and is expected to remain on the bench for the coming Premier League fixture against Tottenham.
