Michael Owen launches “impossible” Rúben Amorim defence after Manchester United sacking
Michael Owen has come to the defence of Rúben Amorim after the former Manchester United head coach was fired from his role earlier this year.…
Rúben Amorim was appointed Manchester United’s head coach in November 2024, replacing Erik ten Hag after a poor start to the season.
After managing 63 games, United won 24 matches, drew 18 and lost 21 times, giving him record of the worst win ratio (31.9%) of any permanent United boss. He was sacked in January 2025 after falling out with the club’s management.
