Sverre Nypan’s comments surrounding Manchester United’s transfer interest have resurfaced after he was spotted holding merchandise from the club.

Manchester United are laying the groundwork for their 2025 transfer windows as Rúben Amorim continues to assess his squad at Old Trafford.

It is widely acknowledged that United will need to offload some high-profile players to fund significant signings in the coming months. One of the most notable names in this regard is Marcus Rashford, with the club reportedly open to offers around £40 million this summer.

Sverre Nypan comments resurface

United have been continually linked with 17-year-old Norwegian sensation Sverre Halseth Nypan ever since the club played Rosenborg during a pre-season friendly in July.

Nypan has been making waves across European football due to his talent, where he has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 60 first-team appearances for the club despite his age.

He played 45 minutes against United and impressed against a midfield pairing of Mason Mount and Casemiro, with Ten Hag’s men falling to a late 1-0 loss at the time.

Speaking in September after learning that United had sent scouts to watch his recent performances, the starlet said: “I didn’t know about it.

“So I don’t really think about it. It will always be like that, so I don’t think about it. I have to learn to deal with it and I think I have.”

Recently, Nypan was spotted on camera holding some of United’s merchandise, proudly presenting a 2025 club calendar that showed André Onana, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, and club captain Bruno Fernandes on the front cover.
