Manchester United target Tyler Dibling has received a warning about his upcoming transfer decision by Southampton boss Ivan Juric.
Tyler Dibling has emerged as one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League this season despite sitting at the foot of the table with Southampton.
The exciting winger has caught the eye of those at Manchester United – Jason Wilcox has been a long admirer of the player from his time working at the Saints.
However, there are tons of other clubs also interested in signing Dibling in the summer and Southampton recently placed a staggering £100 million price tag on the teenager.
That is extremely unlikely to be met, and the Championship-bound side will likely end up accepting an offer in the range of £50-60 million.
Nevertheless, Dibling will have to think carefully about his future in the next transfer market and his current manager Ivan Juric has sent him a warning about that.
Southampton boss sends warning to Dibling
Juric was asked about the future of Dibling in his press conference this week and explained that the youngster has to make the right decision.
If he moves somewhere where he will not get enough game time, Dibling could “lose himself” like other young players Juric has previously worked with.
The Southampton boss concluded that he thinks the best decision for the 19-year-old is to either stay at St Mary’s Stadium or move to a team where he will be guaranteed to play at least 30 games a season.
“I work a lot with the young players, and my vision of the young players is that they have to choose what is best for them,” the Croatian explained. “What is best for them is playing games.
“I had lots of examples where my young players chose the wrong team, and they didn’t play, and they started to lose themselves. I think what is best for him, and for everybody, is to choose the team, stay here or choose the team where he can play 30 games, 35 games.”
Juric warning could give United upper hand in Dibling chase
There are so many clubs reportedly interested in Dibling’s services in the summer but United may have an upper hand if he listens to his current boss.

United will have competition for places on the right side if the teenager joins but have also proven that they are more than willing to give youngsters the opportunity to play consistent football.
The current squad at Old Trafford also isn’t filled with quality, which may give Dibling the confidence to think he can push to play regularly. Other clubs in more settled situations might not be able to guarantee that.
As long as the ridiculous valuation comes down, it seems like a transfer that could make sense for both United and the player.
