Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to COMPLETE Manchester United bid in the next week

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to complete his minority purchase of Manchester United in the next week, according to the latest reports.
Saturday evening has brought news that Sheikh Jassim has pulled out of the race to purchase Manchester United after the Glazer family rejected his bid for Erik ten Hag‘s club.
The offer was said to be double the market valuation of the company, but it was not enough to convince the Glazers to sell.

The other party in the race, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, will now complete his purchase of 25% of the club.
This is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that the deal is set to be ratified “this week”.
His offer is believed to be between £1.4-1.5 billion, and he has the view of it being the first step towards eventual full ownership of the Old Trafford team.
Ratcliffe’s offer values United at a higher overall price, despite only being 25% of the club – this is what convinced the Glazers to sell.
