Real Madrid manager “offered” Man United job amid new Sir Jim Ratcliffe delay
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly been offered the Manchester United job.
Erik ten Hag‘s second season at Manchester United had not gone to plan, with his team suffering from a monumental injury crisis, resulting in the side steering into a patch of rough form.
They currently sit sixth in the Premier League table on 23 points after 13 games, one more point than at this stage last season, but are bottom of their Champions League group with just two games to go.
According to reports from Spain, Carlo Ancelotti, current manager of Real Madrid, has “received an offer” from United ahead of next season.

Ten Hag’s team are currently top of the Premier League form charts having won five of their last six league fixtures, and multiple English reports have explained that the Dutchman’s job is currently under no threat with Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe’s 25% stake in United is not set to be announced this week, according to David Ornstein. Many thought the Ratcliffe 25% would be confirmed over the international break, but this never came to pass.
There was then another delay due to the Thanksgiving holidays in America last Thursday, with this delay no doubt causing much frustration among those inside INEOS and those inside the club.
There is thought to be no reason for the delays beyond the fact that those involved are meticulously going over the terms of the transaction and that it is expected to eventually go through.
