Rasmus Højlund has been receiving rightful praise across 2024 so far after he became the youngest-ever player to score across six Premier League fixtures in a row.
It is a stat that has seen Rasmus Højlund beat the likes of Erling Haaland and Thierry Henry to the punch, with the player now firing on all cylinders in the Premier League for Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag has very much gotten the best out of Højlund in recent weeks, with the player now playing consistently alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford.

The six-in-a-row statistic is one that United legend Peter Schmeichel added to, explaining that Højlund is only the fourth-ever player to do so for the club.
“He’s in good company. There are only three other players, Man United players, (who have) ever done that –scoring six in a row,” Schmeichel told Premier League Productions.
“It’s Van Nistelrooy, he’s done it three times. Then Cristiano Ronaldo and Cantona. But he’s in good company, you know? And with him, he’s only 21, right? So he’s promising a lot.

“I’m saying that he could be looked at in that bracket, that he could move into that sort of, that stardom, that guy that puts a ball away and scores him 25, 30 goals a season. He has got that.
“We’ve seen that again today. He’s got everything in his locker. I think the team needs to understand him a little bit better, but that will take time. And they will come with the time. But the guy is fantastic, man. He’s strong, and he gets the chances. He missed one today, but he scored two.”
